Holiday Gift Guide for Boys 3-5

Holiday Gift Guide for Boys 3-5

Here is a list of awesome gifts for boys ages 3-5. This year I would like to take another approach to Christmas gifts by getting things that promotes learning and movement. I've noticed my son gets bored playing with the toys he has now. They don't keep him busy for long or he is just not interested with playing with his toys anymore.

Some boys need things that is a puzzle for their brain. They need their brain stimulated, to solve problems, something their minds can grow with. This year I made a gift guide for gifts that will help a child grow and learn in a fun way.

1. Balance Bikes

Balance bikes are great for exercise, fine motor skills, building confidence and independence, and developing balance and coordination.

2. Floor Puzzles

Jumbo floor puzzles improve problem solving, eye hand coordination, visual perception, and encourages independent play. They are easier to maneuver and put together.

3. Walkie Talkies

These babies are super fun to have around. Also, may comfort them to know you're on the other side when they may need you.

4. Picasso Tiles

My son absolutely loves these. It keeps him entertained for quite a while.

5. Word Building Game

This is around the time your child is learning their letters, how to pronounce them, and how to spell small words. A world building game is great to encourage that. My son is so shy about writing and learning to spell his name at the moment. Learning through play works great for him.

6. Tool Set

My son loves to fix things that we had to get something of his own. He will fix his car and pull it apart just to do it all over again.

7. Camera

Are your kids getting into that picture taking phase? I know mine is.

8. Kwik Stix Tempera Paint Set

No more dealing with paint splatters and water spills. Watching our kids paint is always fun, but the cleanup, not so much! Kwik Stix has a super-fast dry time.

9. Don't Break the Ice

Who doesn't have a great family game for all to enjoy, especially the kiddos? Boys love to destroy things, so give them something to knock down.

10. Indoor Trampoline

I don't know about yall, but I have a very extremely active 3-year-old boy. Something just has to give. Jumping around always does the trick. Now he'll have a designated area for it, that means momma gets her sofa and bed back.

These gifts are great for learning, entertaining, and for when moms need to get things done while avoiding screen time. Boys can be hard to shop for, so I hope this helps you get started on your Christmas shopping list.
